Brazilian Timborana ¾” x 3” Solid Prefinished – #1 Common. Not as dark in color as many exotics, and still full of unique character, color and interesting grain appearance. This exotic flooring is heavier toward short pieces (1’ to 3’, average length 1.8’).  Some boxes may contain pieces longer than 3’. This grade generally allows less than 5% of very minor defect, such as finish and milling imperfections. But again they are VERY minor and are virtually indiscernible once the floor is down. Uncle Hilde's tip - if you want a perfect floor, set the pieces with minor defect aside and use them in closets or beneath cabinets.
